CET’s The Art Show

During my internship with CET Cincinnati I worked as an Associate Producer and Video Editor. I worked directly under Don Hancock, the producer of The Art Show. He assigned me with finding a local artist to feature on the upcoming season of the show. I knew of Erin Beckloff and her private collection of letter presses because she taught my sister at Miami University. Once I reached out to her and she agreed to be featured on The Art Show, Don taught me his pre-production process. I wrote Erin’s interview questions, then came on production and shot b-roll for the segment. After production it was my responsibility to edit the piece together, providing Don with updates on my progress. At the end of my internship Erin’s spotlight aired on broadcast television in episode 7, season 9 of The Art Show.
