”Largo al factotum”

In 2020 Spotted Yeti Media created a one-hour television special celebrating Cincinnati Opera’s 100th anniversary. Due to Covid-19, Cincinnati Opera cancelled their entire season. But what is a 100th anniversary without a celebration? Working with Cincinnati Opera to create this documentary was a professional highlight, especially during a year of so much uncertainty. I had the pleasure (and challenge!) of succinctly telling Cincinnati Opera’s robust history by combing through interviews my colleagues collected. I also edited a few of the performances that are featured in the documentary. This is “Largo al factotum” from Barber of Seville. I have the distinct memory of editing this piece at my kitchen island because our office was closed. This is still one of my favorite songs from the documentary all these years later.
